Meet Geraldine Riley
Geraldine Riley is the founder and principal of Cyber Safe Security. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University and has earned certificates in cybersecurity, network support, Linux administration, digital forensics, and cloud storage, along with a CompTIA Security+ certification — one of the most respected credentials in the cybersecurity industry.
Geraldine founded Cyber Safe Security in 2024 after recognizing a critical gap in the real estate industry. Her husband has worked as a mortgage loan officer for 35 years, and through that lens she witnessed firsthand how many cyber incidents in real estate never make the news — quietly devastating businesses, derailing transactions, and exposing clients whose data was never properly protected.
What she saw was an industry full of hardworking professionals — independent realtors, small title companies, and lean mortgage brokerages — carrying significant legal and regulatory responsibility for their clients’ data, with little to no cybersecurity infrastructure to back it up. Enterprise-grade protection existed, but it was priced and packaged for large corporations, not for the small businesses that needed it most.

Geraldine’s approach is practical, plain-language, and client-focused — translating complex cybersecurity requirements into programs that real estate professionals can actually implement, sustain, and point to with confidence when regulators, partners, and clients ask how their data is being protected.
