Meet Geraldine Riley
Geraldine Riley is the founder and principal of Cyber Safe Security, an Orlando-based cybersecurity firm dedicated to protecting small businesses — with a specialized focus on the real estate industry.
Geraldine holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University and has earned professional certificates in cybersecurity, network support, Linux administration, digital forensics, and cloud storage, along with a CompTIA Security+ certification — one of the most widely recognized credentials in the cybersecurity field.
Her path to cybersecurity was shaped by something deeply personal. Her husband has worked as a mortgage loan officer for 35 years — and over the course of that career he has seen and heard of dozens of cyber incidents in the real estate industry that never made the news. Deals derailed. Client data exposed. Businesses quietly devastated. Professionals who had spent years building their reputation losing it overnight to a cyberattack that nobody ever found out about.
Geraldine saw what was happening behind the scenes and knew she could help. She watched an industry full of hardworking professionals — independent realtors, small title companies, and lean mortgage brokerages — carrying significant legal and regulatory responsibility for their clients’ most sensitive financial data, with little to no cybersecurity protection in place.
In 2024 she founded Cyber Safe Security with a single purpose — to give small businesses access to the same enterprise-grade cybersecurity that large corporations rely on, at a price that works for the way small businesses actually operate.
Geraldine’s approach is practical, personal, and plain-language. No jargon. No unnecessary complexity. Just real protection for the people who have worked too hard to lose everything to a cyberattack.
Geraldine also understands something most cybersecurity professionals never consider — there is a profound difference between earning a commission and living on one – this is personal to her.
